Contrac All - Weather Cake (Rat Poison)-1box

Contrac All-Weather CAKE, like All-Weather BLOX, is designed for high moisture conditions as it resists mold and rancidity. This economical bait is manufactured in a multi-edged, scored cake that can be broken into 4-oz. and 1-oz. blocks for rat or mouse placements. Use it indoors and out in bait stations placed around structures and along rodent runways.

CONTRAC, a single-feeding anticoagulant bait containing Bromadiolone, is excellent for controlling mice and rats, including Norway rats. It is ideal to use as a clean-out and maintenance bait.

Why Should You Use?

Contrac All-Weather Cake is manufactured in a multi-edged, scored cake that can be broken into 4 oz. and 1 oz. blocks for rat or mouse placements. Place cakes indoors and outdoors in bait stations like Final Block RTU Station or Protect A Rats Bait Station. Also, since Contrac All-Weather Cake is Weather-Proof, it can be placed independently of your home.

CONTRAC achieves superior rodent acceptance due to its highly palatable formulation. Rodents can consume a lethal dose in just one feeding. Bait shyness is not a problem with CONTRAC because mortality occurs a few days after bait is consumed. It is also less toxic to non-target animals in both primary and secondary poisoning situations than other single-feeding anticoagulants. The antidote, Vitamin K1, is readily available and there is a time factor for treatment. CONTRAC is blue in color and can be used in federally inspected meat and poultry plants in the United States.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: Determine areas where rats or mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been seen. Protect from rain or snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.

CONTRAC All-Weather CAKE is a single-feeding bait available in a weatherproof form. Its active ingredient, Bromadiolone, produces mortality in a single feeding, even in anticoagulant-resistant rodents.

CONTRAC All-Weather CAKE is designed for high moisture conditions and retards the occurrence of mold or rancidity. To ensure acceptability by rats and mice, only human food-grade inert materials and enhancers are used. Labeled for the control of Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice, CONTRAC All-Weather CAKE can be used indoors and outside in bait stations, around structures, in burrows, or along rodent runways. It is colored blue for easy recognition as a non-food item and is authorized by USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.

CONTRAC All-Weather CAKE is manufactured in multi-edged, scored cakes that can be broken into 4-oz., 2-oz., or 1-oz. blocks for rat or mouse placements.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Each CONTRAC CAKE consists of a one-pound slab scored to be broken into four 4-oz. pieces.

RATS: Break and apply 1 to 4 pieces of CONTRAC CAKE (usually at intervals of 15 to 30 feet) per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease.

MICE: Obtain 1-oz. bait pieces by breaking 4-oz. pieces of CONTRAC CAKE in half and breaking each half in half. Use one 1-oz. piece of CONTRAC CAKE per bait placement. Space placements at 8- to 12- foot intervals. Two 1-oz. pieces may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease.

RATS AND MICE: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Collect and dispose of all dead exposed animals and leftover bait properly. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
